Monday update no #1

This weekend Phil came home from Switzerland where he stayed for 2 days. We immediately went training when he got back. Still no mounts into handstand unfortunately but we’re working on it! after we got back we had a late meal of good tasting pizza! (ate too much..) Sunday Phil went training with Joanne and Hannah Eccles. I went with him to watch but after John Eccles asked me for the second time to jump on the horse i couldn’t resist and did some basic exorcises. In the evening we had a barbecue so we did some shopping and cleaning during the day before the guests arrived.

Barbecue was nice, Phil has got some funny friends. One guy in particular since he really has some dry humor.

Back to the future…; The night before Phil came home i went out with Manuela (German girl) and Lesley (Scottish). We went to a club which was pretty empty and weird… but it was fun to be in a club after seeing several pubs (and no I’m not drinking that much..) as i like clubs better. I even did a little dance.

-something that hasn’t got anything to do with vaulting…; taking (more) pictures when i go out etc. so you can enjoy not only reading text but also see some pictures!

And back to yesterday. training was good:) abs are a tiny little sore, shoulder muscles and arm muscles too and legs from stretching as well.

Monday updates

So…. every monday you can count on an update. If something really good/fun/or whatever has happened i will post that on an occasional other day as well.

Last week wasn’t to big of a deal. i’ve done some graphic design for promoting the riding lessons and vaulting in here. I’m not completely happy with the outcome but the poster/flyer had to be done quick so i think if i would have had some more time it would have been better. (the image is in very low quality..! so the printed one will be better of course!)

Other things i’ve done are creating a new image for myself. I’ve bought the domain name; thedutchdesigner.com. I’m currently still working on the design, but its getting better every day. Today I’ll hopefully finish the logo and design of the website so i can put it online soon. When it’s online I’ll let you know! And if anyone knows… hoe gaat dat in nederland als je buitenlandse klanten hebt met de belasting enzo?! haha. dus als iemand het weet…;)

I’m deleting the lower abs and arm muscles because I’m doing them plenty! the barrel isn’t really great to vault on so i need a solution for that & not much horse training over here sooo……

I’m going to continious again.. So monday will probably the first new post;)

im sitting and living in a van right now.. feels like camping haha. i swapped from ross his place to phil’s two days ago. where our party started in Edinburgh it ended in Glasgow. and how… ill show you a nice video..

helped phil a bit yesterday and it seems like i will have some work over here. so far so good. yesterday morning i had a quick look around and phil has a pretty nice gym. trampoline, barrels the whole thing. the only encounter though is that he only trains once a week on a horse. struggling a wee bit with that (Scottish for a little bit). but we will figure out something.

goals; did a little bit of barrel training yesterday. there are three barrels over here so that wont be a problem. havent been jumping on horses yet so no updates about my mount.

first weekend started!

first weekend started!

last week has been good. helped out rebecca at her stables with cleaning, vaulting, riding (riding?!?, yes riding!) and more cleaning.. leaving the family tomorrow and moving in at philips place which i have mentioned in my previous post.. dont know for how long or whatsoever, but we’ll see…. again.

yesterdays training started off in the afternoon with a lot of stretching. little kids where training and i didnt have anything to do so i sat down in the sun and started stretching.. later on it was the teams turn. i didnt do too much since it was there training but i especially tried really hard on that one mount in canter and it felt different (in a good way) of all the other mounts that i have ever done. small step forward, cant wait for next training. ill try and keep you up to date about that.

so… my first weekend abroad started! going out for a drink in a minute. wishing you all good mental health and happiness

p.s. im going to put down goals in my messages starting from now on;
getting my mount into handstand, & i need/want more barrel training!
